The CO2 climate scare is a massive hoax, massaged quietly and brilliantly by China, designed to wreck western economies and our ability to fight to an industrial war. China hopes to avoid a hot war by simply breaking the west economically.
That GBNews should think a £37 Bn cost for Net Zero was a huge and unexpected concern shows just how far journalists are unaware of the realities of this mad project. You may be interested to see this interview with Professor Michael Kelly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkImqOxMqvU
I believe it's important to overcome this widespread ignorance about the extraordinary danger of Net Zero by getting key facts into the public domain in a short, succinct and easily understood format. Hence this: /Users/robinguenier/Desktop/The Case Against Net Zero.pdf
We have had absolute Plonkers like you are dealing with in Canada as well… but not for much longer ….as one way or another we will have an election soon, and its clear what we all want to see. And its certainly not NetZero. And of course we have Trump who we will be trading with so its all going to fall into the right place.
In General…. I see 2025 as a Climate Reality watershed year.
Until recently we were all faced with an impossible communication problem in getting to the truth with institutions such as the UN and most western governments and media avidly supporting the science fiction that we have a climate emergency.
The good news is that some of us will have new governments and voters that just wont listen to this climate emergency narrative anymore.
I believe many climate advocacy groups that sucked up all this stuff will disband in 2025 as they will see a population less interested in listening.
We will see a firm move toward climate realism and a dismantling of the NetZero policy set in most western nations.
The bad news is that it will take significant time to unwind the damage done in funding direction and those trapped in the false universe of truth, and who have hitched their livelihoods to this imploding star.…
Our job as climate realists will be to assist in the re-education as the climate reality takes hold.
I am in the U.K. and I think it will take longer than 2025. Prolonged periods of power cuts will probably do the trick though, and they can't be far off.
Roger Hallam and his XR coterie (and later JSO) were not deluded when they made there initial demand for Net Zero by 2025. They knew it meant a return to pre-industrial, pre capitalist, neo-feudal living. It was mainstream politicians and the media class who were deluded in thinking the transition was about tech innovation whilst maintaining living standards. Roger and his ilk are more than prepared to live in huts off grid, living off the land. This is the real meaning of the misnomer Green Socialism. The question now is how much social and economic damage can be prevented by Net Zero policies - still enshrined in law- before the inevitable collapse of the whole project.
I'd love to know just how much fossil fuel and rare earths will be required to reach Nirvana? And what devastation and pollution will be caused by mining the latter?
Regardless, it is increasingly clear that to save the planet, we have no choice but to destroy it.
You need to perfect the art of keeping talking regardless. Everything he says is a lie, but you have to hand it to that Irish guy (Donachach something) for refusing to be thrown off his deceptive track.
Whether we have climate change or not there is no doubt that the policies our useless governments have come up with to mitigate the supposed problem are several degrees worse (if you'll excuse the pun) than the actual problem.

Maybe you can thank offcom for GBN's line.
Yes: OfCom seems to have made GBNews into what the government wants - Controlled Opposition, sadly.

That didn't work. Here's an earlier version: https://cliscep.com/2024/11/06/the-case-against-net-zero-an-eighth-update/#comment-156685
Reality is just over the hill and when the realities of this nonsense are clear and unable to be hidden, then trouble will be the result.

I agree its going to take a time.... And you will probably need another government change.. but be careful what you vote for eh?

How much will it cost? How much do you have? That’ll do for starters, and you can pay the rest later, ok?
Only kindergarteners can really grasp numbers like that: “my daddy’s got a gazilion zillion dollars…”
