The green economy's fake 'jobs'

Estimates of the size of the 'green economy' come with estimates of the green workforce. But how do they compare?

Earlier posts here have examined reports that claim to have surveyed the size of the green economy. It was my intention to get round to exploring the jobs data in more detail, but many recent events took me off course. I was reminded this week by David Turver’s Substack post, which compares green energy subsidies with green jobs, and finds that each job may cost a whopping quarter of a million quid.

So let’s compare the different reports’ claims…
